For me, music and fashion are two sides of the same coin. It’s not just about the final look or sound—it’s about the layers, the process, the emotion, and the story behind it all. Music comes alive when voice, percussion, beat, guitar, sax, and movement come together with intention. Just like fashion comes alive when thread, silhouette, colour coordination, and styling choices work in harmony to express something deeper.
In the studio, the artist is telling a story. On the street, so is the person in a carefully chosen outfit. Are you expressing boldness? Ease? Mystery? Creativity? Confidence? Both music and fashion have the power to say all of that without words.
That’s why my favorite genre is Afro soul. It’s grounded in rhythm, layered with emotion, rich in identity. Just like my style, it blends tradition with edge, softness with strength, and always tells a story that feels true to where I’m from and where I’m going.
