Stop Planning, Start Doing

One of the best pieces of advice I’ve ever received is the difference between motion and action. Motion feels like progress, but action gets results. The woman with the issue of blood thought, “If I touch Jesus’ garment, I’ll be healed.” That thought was motion. But when she pressed through the crowd and actually touched Him, that was action, and that’s when the miracle happened. It’s the same in life: planning, researching, or making lists is motion, but picking up the phone, recording the video, or starting the business is action. Progress comes when you move beyond motion into action.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
