At the moment, my favourite word has to be becoming. It carries weight for me because life is really a journey of becoming—of stepping into new versions of yourself through every season. I’ve seen it in my own life: moving countries, rediscovering my passion for style, building Twelve19styles. Each phase has reshaped me.
What I love about “becoming” is that it’s never final. It reminds me that growth doesn’t stop, creativity doesn’t have to be boxed in, and even setbacks can be part of shaping who you’re meant to be. It’s a word that inspires me to embrace change, stay true to my identity, and keep evolving, both as a person and as a creative.
