How Every Season Shapes Your Identity and Style

On August 27th, standing beside my two old friends Tosin and Bafewa, I was reminded that life is truly a cycle of becoming. Once three young men in Lagos, we had reunited in new forms. Tosin is now a father of two, Bafewa was stepping into marriage, and I was taking the mic as MC. Each of us had gathered new titles, new roles, and new layers to our identity.

Becoming is never a single destination but a series of seasons. At different times we are students, creators, partners, parents, or leaders. Each season stretches us, shapes us, and draws out a fuller expression of who we are. Our style mirrors this journey. What we wear is never just fabric, it is a reflection of the roles we carry and the stories we are living.

For me, stepping away from comedy in 2022 was a defining moment. It meant letting go of comfort to embrace a calling that demanded courage and clarity. Becoming always requires shedding before stepping forward.

My ideal week is not one free of change, but one filled with becoming. A week where I create, connect, lead, and dress with intention, knowing that every season is shaping me into more
