My favorite time of day is the morning because it feels like the purest moment to set the rhythm of my life. I love fashion, style, and the art of living with intention, and mornings give me that space to align both my outward expression and inner growth. Though I am a student, I see myself as more than one learning subjects in a classroom. I am a student of rhythm, a student of discovering how to move through life in a way that reflects my unique identity and purpose.

Growing up in a Yoruba household, wisdom was passed down through proverbs and adages that still guide me today. One saying I often reflect on is “A kì í wo ago aláago ṣiṣẹ́,” which means do not carry out your duties using someone else’s timepiece. In other words, do not compare your timing to others. Each morning, as I prepare myself, whether through fashion choices or simple reflections, I remember that I am not in a race against anyone. My journey has its own pace, and my growth has its own season.

What’s your favorite time of day?
