Last Sunday, I ran a marathon. Crossing that finish line was not just about endurance, it was about clarity. One of the biggest lessons I have learnt from running is this, if you want to move faster, you have to lose the weight. The lighter you get, the faster you go, and the further you travel.
That lesson excited me because it is not just about running. It is about life. We all carry weights, old habits, fears, doubts, unnecessary baggage. And just like in a marathon, those weights slow us down. Letting them go creates speed, freedom, and possibility.
The race reminded me that excitement comes when you realise how much lighter you can live, and how much further you can go.
