Back to the Roots

Easy. I’m flying straight to Lagos, Nigeria.

Not just because it’s home, but because every time I go back, I’m reminded of where the journey started. The grit. The dreams. The fire. That’s where I first learned how to turn little into legacy—from sketching ideas in my head to building something real with £20 and a tripod. Lagos grounds me, but it also fuels me. Every street, every face, every sound tells me not to forget who I am and why I started.

And of course, I’m not going alone. I’d take my wife. She’s carrying our first child, and there’s something about returning to your roots before starting a new chapter that just feels right. We’d eat suya on the roadside, visit family, soak in the culture, and maybe even shoot some content with a few Lagos-based creatives—because style is global, and I believe in bridging the gap.

So yeah, Lagos first. Then maybe a layover in Cape Town just to catch our breath.

If you won two free plane tickets, where would you go?
