Walk Through It

What do you think gets better with age?

Perspective. That’s what I believe gets better with age.

When you’re younger, it’s easy to think every moment is final, every setback is a sign you’ve failed, and every high is the peak. But as time passes, you start to see that life is made up of seasons. Some are bright, some are dark, but none of them last forever unless you let them.

You learn to go through it and grow through it. That’s life. With age, you realise it’s never really about rushing to get everything right. It’s about taking those little steps forward, even when they feel small. Because little steps are always better than none.

So what gets better with age? The ability to keep moving, even when it’s hard. The understanding that your current situation is not your final destination. And most of all, the courage to keep showing up for your dreams, your growth, and your purpose.

You stop being so hard on yourself and start giving yourself permission to be human to try, to fail, to try again. And with every trial, you discover a new version of yourself. Stronger. Wiser. More grounded.

I’ve learned that the moments that once seemed unbearable don’t hold the same power over me anymore. I’ve also learned that wins taste sweeter when you know how much it took to get there. That kind of clarity and calm doesn’t come overnight, it comes with time, with reflection, and with lived experience.

Let the seasons come, and let them go. But never let one moment define you.
