This conversation is often approached like it’s a debate where you must pick a side—like quantity stands on one end and quality is over there, as if they can’t coexist or work together to achieve real results. But that mindset is limiting. Personally, I’d rather have one good polo shirt that stands the test of time than a pile of unreliable, low-quality ones—it just makes sense
Now bring that same principle into your work. I believe your work should reflect intention—careful attention to detail and the time invested in it. The “quantity” should come from repetition, from the constant refining that leads to your best. And yes, when you’re just starting out without much help, it can be hard to achieve both. But if you must choose, let it be quality first. Because the real magic—the sweet spot—is when your level of quality begins to match the consistency of your output. That’s when excellence becomes inevitable.
