“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done.” — Philippians 4:6 (NLT)
In recent years, this Bible verse has become a way of life for me. I do my best not to stress or worry about anything.
On Tuesday morning, I woke up to find that all my Instagram accounts both personal and business, had been disabled. My Facebook account, with 15 years’ worth of memories, was also gone. I read every article I could find. Some were encouraging, others said they never got their accounts back. I did everything I could to recover them — no luck.
People began reaching out, saying they couldn’t find me online. Even a brand I had just signed a contract with for an influencer partnership emailed to ask if everything was okay, as they couldn’t locate my Instagram.
At that point, I just paused and prayed:
“God, this is the last thing I want to stress over.”
I let it go and told myself I’d wait until my wife got back from her trip — she’s the tech expert in the house — and maybe we’d figure it out together.
Early Friday morning, on a whim, I checked my Instagram… and everything was back.
I still can’t explain what happened — but I thank God for answered prayers, and I’m grateful to everyone who checked in. 🙏 to answer today’s prompt it will be the time I spend in prayers with God
What sacrifices have you made in life?
