Polka dot ties are my favourite, especially the ones with tiny dots. There’s something effortlessly stylish about them. They’re easy to match with different patterns and always add a touch of personality without being too loud.
But don’t worry, today’s post isn’t actually about polka dots. It’s about a different kind of dots—the ones we connect looking back on life.
Steve Jobs once said, “You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backward.” That quote has stuck with me. Life often doesn’t make sense in the moment. The setbacks, the detours, even the small wins—they feel random at times. But later, when you pause and reflect, you start to see the pattern. The dots begin to connect.
So maybe, just like my favorite tie, life’s dots—big or small—aren’t always meant to match perfectly in the moment. But trust me, they’re part of a bigger picture.
