My look today consists of a perfect blend of four distinct colors, pulled together effortlessly without any ‘Bozo the Clown’ vibes. Wondering how to wear four colors without looking chaotic? It’s simpler than it seems—just follow these four easy steps!

First, Start with a Neutral Base. Choose a neutral foundation for your outfit, which will help the other three colors shine without overpowering each other. For example, I chose cream trousers as my base, setting a calm stage for the rest of the colors to pop.

Next, Choose a Dominant Color. This will be the main color that stands out the most and covers larger pieces of the outfit. It could be the jacket, as it is in my case; I went with a black jacket to create a strong, grounding presence.

Then, Add Two Accent Colors in Moderation. These colors should be subtle and add hints of contrast without overwhelming. Today, I chose a blue shirt as one of my accent colors, blending it seamlessly with the jacket and trousers.

Finally, Incorporate a Bold Pop Color. Use the fourth color as a small but striking detail—perhaps in an accessory. I added a red pocket square, which ties in beautifully with the rest of the outfit and pairs nicely with the tie, giving the look a stylish, lively edge.

By following these steps, you can create an outfit that feels intentional, balanced, and undeniably stylish.
