How to Walk on Water with Ease

When I first delved into the world of mindfulness, the words “you’re enough, it’s all in you” echoed repeatedly in my ears. However, over time, these words became a hollow cliche, devoid of true meaning. It was only when I revisited the story of Jesus and Peter walking on water that the essence of being “enough” truly resonated with me.

In this biblical tale, Peter’s unwavering belief in himself is evident. When he saw Jesus walking on water, he dared to step out of the boat, declaring, “If it is you, bid me to come meet you on the water.” His faith propelled him forward, and miraculously, he too began to walk on water.

Yet, as the story goes, Peter’s focus shifted from his inner conviction to the external elements—the waves and the storm. This shift in focus marked the beginning of his descent into the water. Much like a business owner embarking on a new venture, he or she may initially believe in their ability to navigate the challenges, much like walking on water. But as they encounter market turbulence, governmental policies, exchange rate fluctuations, and unforeseen crises, it’s easy to lose sight of their inner strength.

Peter’s story teaches us that fixating on external factors can lead to sinking, be it in the water or the world of business. Instead, we should look within to find the answers. It may require reevaluating our business strategies, increasing our efforts, sacrificing short-term gains for long-term success, and continuously seeking knowledge and resources.

The key lesson is clear: the answers to our challenges lie within us. Every obstacle we face is temporary and will eventually pass. By maintaining our focus on our inner strength, we can weather any storm and emerge stronger on the other side.

In conclusion, remember that nothing significant happens on the outside without the courage and determination that reside within you. You are enough, and your inner fortitude can triumph over any external adversity. So, keep your gaze fixed on your inner strength, for that’s where the true solutions lie.
